ICCAGE Conference

Reflecting on the current discussions on the framework of the “four Cs” – communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking – the third ICCAGE international conference invites teachers and experts across all academic disciplines to share experience, best practice, and research in this area. Following up on the successful ICCAGE 2019 international conference held in Prague, we invite papers on the following topics:

  • 4Cs-based approaches to ELT
  • teaching social and/or communicative skills
  • critical and creative thinking
  • intercultural communicative competence
  • transferrable/transversal skills through ELT
  • CLIL in higher education
  • autonomous learning
  • telecollaboration

Submit abstracts for a 20-minute presentation (120 words maximum) including a short academic bio via this link and registration form.

Selected conference papers will be published in a reviewed collection of essays and/or offered to be reviewed by an independent academic journal.

Deadline for submissions: May 30, 2020

Conference Fee: €60

ICCAGE Conference 2019

Following up on the successful ICCAGE 2017, the ICCAGE 2019 international conference held in Prague on June 13-14, 2019 brought together educators and experts in the fields of language teaching/learning, personal development, and soft skills training to discuss both new and traditional approaches to global education, share experience, and set the future trends in higher education.

ICCAGE Conference 2017

The international conference ICCAGE 2017 brought together more than one hundred international scholars to contribute to the on-going debate on intercultural language/communicative skills, and innovative teaching and training approaches to ICC including global mobility, intercultural mediation and telecollaboration, and in and out-of classroom methodologies.

The conference, held in Prague on June 22-23, 2017, offered an opportunity to share experience, develop interdisciplinary networks, and foster cooperation by sharing knowledge and best practices essential for further development and innovation.
