National Development Day at Czernin Palace

We attended the first National Development Day at Czernin Palace

On April 25, 2024, we had the honor of participating in the historically first National Development Day at Czernin Palace. The event was attended by significant personalities, including the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský, and other guests.

The morning session of the program focused on meetings of representatives from the public, non-profit, private sectors, and academic community, as well as government and parliament representatives involved in humanitarian, transformational, and development assistance abroad.

This was followed by expert round table discussions on topics including education, climate and environmental security, and economic development. During one of these discussions, our colleague Dr. Patrick Kapila presented the role of Czech private companies in implementing projects funded by the Czech Development Agency. The role of Czech Private Companies in Post project implementation: Inviting Czech companies to take advantage of the opportunities that various CZECH AID funded projects are opening up. In our case it is about producers of Biogas packaging technologies, Mini abattoir and appliances for Biogas utilisation.
Our participation in this event directly followed our project "Biogas for Sustainable Livelihoods and Green Youth Entrepreneurship" in Zambia.
