The UCT School of Business organizes events and participates in research projects involving faculty, students, as well as numerous international partners. Our research interests generally fall under four broad categories with the following representative topics:
2026 - 2028
The SFF Deep Teach Valleys – STEM2Venture Pathway project promotes entrepreneurship in STEM and strengthens links between research and business. Through education, mentoring and a shared Open STEM-Incubator, it supports the development of research-based ideas, start-ups and the commercialisation of scientific innovations.

DECIRE-WATER develops innovative decentralised solutions for sustainable water management, water reuse and resource efficiency. The project aims to demonstrate their practical application in diverse geographical, climatic and socio-economic conditions.

The iDZ Praha project is co-funded by the European Union. Its aim is to support the implementation of activities and measures set out in the Long-Term Plan for Education and the Development of the Education System in the Capital City of Prague, contributing to improved education quality across Prague.

Youth Connect EU-Ukraine (YOU) is a 24-month Erasmus+ co-operation partnership project that supports young people affected by the war in Ukraine by strengthening their resilience, inclusion and agency across Europe.
