European Researchers’ Night 2026
On Friday, 25 September 2026, UCT Prague’s premises on Jankovcova Street opened their doors to visitors as part of European Researchers’ Night. This year’s theme, COMMUNICATION, attracted visitors of all ages who had the opportunity not only to learn about science but also to experience it firsthand.
The School of Business UCT Prague prepared a varied programme connecting economics, management, communication, decision-making and natural sciences. Visitors took part in workshops, games and quizzes, explored activities focused on working with information and making decisions, and put their problem-solving skills to the test in an escape game.
Activities for children, including chemical experiments for the youngest visitors, and an exciting chemical show were also among the highlights. The programme also featured lectures offering different expert perspectives on communication.
Colleagues from the Department of Sustainability and Product Ecology also contributed to the event with a workshop on greenwashing and the communication of environmental issues. Through practical examples, visitors learned how to recognise misleading environmental claims and what to look out for when communicating about sustainability.
For one evening, the premises at Jankovcova 23 became a place where science met play, experimentation and shared discovery.
We would like to thank all visitors, colleagues, students and everyone else who contributed to the preparation and success of this year’s European Researchers’ Night.
